The WACK Foundation Ltd.
Foundation logoThe WACK Foundation Ltd was founded to rekindle Pride in the Cultural History and Heritage of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. An undertaking in the making for the past two years has now come to fruition because of the dedication and hard work of the initial Foundation members. The WACK Foundation will not only serve the Southland, but Trinidad and Tobago as a whole.
Our first major project is to create a Calypso Archive and have it available online. This marks the first time such a database has been hosted and maintained by an organization in Trinidad and Tobago since the documented recording of 'Calypso' as we now know it, approximately 100 years ago. We could not have done this database so successfully without the assitance of Dmitri Subotsky, who created a similar database in the United Kingdom some years ago.

It is only fitting that this database is unveiled during October, Calypso History month in Trinidad & Tobago. We invite you to explore the database, and if you can enhance it with any additional information, please don't hesitate to email us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.

Get free downloads for Internet Explorer 7, including recommended updates as they become available. To download Internet Explorer 7 in the language of your choice, please visit the Internet Explorer 7 worldwide page.
